FAQ
Are there "good" and "bad" chosen children?, The closest you'll find are the Æsir and the Vanir, but they are able to switch sides. There are no "permanent" good guy/bad guy sort of deal here. The only thing that is permanent is your character's alignment. Now, this doesn't mean "omg we're bad now we have to go and sulk about it!" Seriously. I will bash my head against the wall if there are many characters that are "forced" to be on one side. The same goes if there are too many on one side over another.
So what's the deal with the Æsir and the Vanir then?, The two just have the ability to have their partner digivolve to Ultimate level. That is it. That's the only thing special about it. You know what that means? If they wanted to an Æsir could be part of DEATHS willingly for selfish reasons. Being one of Yggdrasil's chosen does not make one's character holy. It simply means that they are destined for greater things. The Vanir are only prone to do bad things whether they want to or not. Why? It's because of the power they were given. They weren't supposed to have it. Too much power corrupts. Now, that doesn't mean that they could do gould. In fact, I wouldn't expect them to be completely bad.
Hey! You have Takato, I thought we can't play canon characters here!, You can. They will just have the same partners and the same basic personality, but their history has to match this universe.
Do I have to PM nachtmare to take one of the Chosen Children (ie. Æsir/Vanir/Jötunn)?, No. But if if you'd like to reserve, post on the master character list. Still, we will judge your character a little more to see if they may actually fit their crest. All in fairness since there are a limited amount of spots for them.
Why isn't there a profile template for DEATHS?, I was thinking about making it reserved for a few people only, but recently decided against it. They use the same template as a normal Ættier, but when I ask what job they will have you must tell me what they will do for DEATHS.
