Hands full of fliers, Baihumon was constantly looking over his shoulder nervously. Italy, ROME, was the perfect place to lose Ouryuumon. Especially now when the tournament was making the streets so busy and she got caught up with her work. The word made Baihumon wrinkled his nose in distaste. Children of a god and here they were doing petty work most people wouldn't be caught dead doing for a wage that was rather insulting. Baihumon looked down at the fliers in his hand and let out a long sigh, rolling his eyes slightly. As much at the digimon wanted to toss them out he knew he'd get in so much trouble for it. He was already pushing his luck with running off in Italy.
Lost in thought, Baihumon didn't expect someone to tap him on the should. The surprise caused the digimon to toss up all of his fliers and shout, rather loudly, "STRANGER DANGER!" The older looking man who had tapped Baihumon on the shoulder stood there, looking somewhat horrified. "S-Sorry... I... uhm... I have Tourette's. or something." The man, who was still staring in obvious confused horror, wasn't buying it. "What!? What do you want from me old man!? I'm just a child!" Though the statement was painfully true about him being a child, it wasn't exactly the most believable thing considering he looked over twenty.
In response to what Baihumon shouted, the elder took a flier that had fallen to the ground and walked off, shaking his head while muttering something about 'kids these days'. "I could probably get fired for that," Baihumon said to himself thoughtfully. The concept wasn't so bad until he thought about how Ouryuumon would react and suddenly he was picking up every last flier he had just tossed. Some were already fluttering away, which sort of made Baihumon nervous. That was kind of like passing them out right? Someone, he thought, was bound to snag those fliers sooner or later.... right? It wasn't the most convincing of thoughts, but he had to pick up all the fliers he could before Ouryuumon caught up with him and he had to make another daring escape of valiant.... daringness.

"On Deceitful Wings" Bored golden eyes hidden underneath dark and expensive-looking black shades took in the scenery around him, noting everything that had changed the last time he had been here. A new shop here, a new vacant lot there, and more greenery than he remembered. The most prominent change though was the figurative aura of sheer energy, tension, and anticipation that covered the city for the tournament that was going to occur soon... but not soon enough for his tastes.
Still, the free time he had before the tournament gave him time to discuss strategies and train extensively with Rodion. While said tournament was just a front for his mission, it didn't mean that Zernebog wasn't going to take it seriously. Actually, training too much was what made his parents force him to stop and take in the sights of Rome again. He was tempted to disobey them due to his lingering resentment of his mother, but Rodion pointed out that it would have been best to take a breather once in a while or else they would have been unfit for the competition due to exhaustion.
"Vitya." The cool, smooth rumble of his partner sounded from behind him. "There are somethings headed towards-"
He was suddenly interrupted by a rush of fliers that smacked the side of Zernebog's face and torso. "-you. You alright?" The Dorugamon finished a bit dryly as he looked at his friend with a hint of an amused look in his eyes.
Beneath the shades, the Russian's right eye twitched violently as he roughly took the fliers off of him and put them in a haphazard, slightly crumpled pile. He took a look at the pieces of paper and frowned a bit when he saw that they were fliers for the tournament that was coming up with basic information that he already knew, being a participant. While it was understandable that people would just carelessly throw away fliers like these, he considered it an annoyance when it was him that was affected by their trash.
The long haired teenager turned to the right to see what had caused this. Seeing that there was some gray-haired man frantically picking up similarly-sized pieces of paper, he assumed that he found his culprit. "Absolutely fine now that I've found who the person responsible is." The Russian replied with a fake pleasant tone.
He then marched towards the gray-haired man, fully intent on giving him a piece of his mind. Rodion followed, looking completely neutral about this... as if this was a common occurrence. Sadly, considering Zernebog it was.
"Are these yours?" Zernebog said with a little irritation as he glared at the gray-haired man underneath his shades.

Baihumon let out the softest of sighs as he sagged visibly. His hands still begrudgingly kept darting out to pick up the papers, but his mind had wandered. Ally didn't want him to go join the tournament himself, so he was stuck working like this and he hated every second of it. Maybe that would be what he did next. Maybe he'd just run out and sign up when she wasn't around to glare at him. "So frustrating and stupid and bad and dumb," Baihumon mumbled to himself, getting a little more frustrated with each movement. That was when he felt someone coming nearer to him, and a voice broke into his thoughts.
Baihumon had already prepared himself for what he assumed was happening and who he thought was coming up to bother him though so he didn't hear the voice or notice the movement that was occurring. "Lookit here old man, you already scared me once and-!" Baihumon cut himself off when he looked up only to be confronted with the sight of rumpled papers in his face and a irritated looking man towering over him. "Oh those..." With a slight scowl, Baihumon pushed himself up, holding what papers he had gathered tightly in one hand.
"Yeah," Baihumon replied crisply to the question, feeling a little flustered already that someone was giving him an irritated tone. Didn't that guy even see what happened? Baihumon was attacked! Yggdrasil, people really knew how to be just... rude. Of course if other people were gonna be that way, Baihumon knew how to play that game. Irritated tones just because he was startled, gosh. The guy had a partner with him though and Baihumon remembered he hadn't put up his little illusion partner at all that day. No fighting then? Baihumon thought with a furrowed brow, No, it would have to be a fist fight and I'm not sure...
He supposed he needed to continue, say something, because he had paused what might be considered an uncomfortably long time. "I guess I... didn't mean to bother you with my moment of terror," He muttered sharply, swiping back his papers so fast that he gave himself a papercut, to which one of his eyes started watering and twitching. He tried not to over-react, but in one quick instant he shouted, "P-P-Papercut!" It didn't take him long to start sniffling and whimpering slightly.

"On Deceitful Wings" Old man? Zernebog thought, his right eyebrow twitching again as he looked at the insolent gray-haired fool who dared call him old. What made it all the worse was that the man definitely looked older than him. Look who's talking, you blasted hypocrite.
Instead of uttering the venomous thoughts he had about this guy out loud like he really wanted to, Zernebog knew better than to just start a fight in the middle of the streets in Rome. They might kick him out of the tournament because of being too violent before the scheduled fights. Lord knows how many tournaments some of his cousins had been kicked out of for being much too crass and violent. His parents and DEATHS would be livid if they found out that he had been kicked out of the tournament because of something this small.
The white haired Russian simply watched and waited for the gray-haired man to take it once he had confirmed that they were his. Opening his mouth and antagonizing this apparently scatter-brained and unstable man was not part of today's proceedings. As if to hold him back further, Rodion put a clawed paw on his shoulder to make sure he didn't do anything rash.
"Really, crying over a paper cut?" There was only so much Zernebog could resist before he had to let out something over the ridiculousness of it all once the guy actually took them and got a paper cut for it. "Shouldn't a guy as old as you be more dignified about these things?"
Behind him, Rodion resisted the overwhelming urge to palm his face. What use was trying to restrain yourself if it was going to last for only a few seconds? He just hoped it wouldn't result in a brawl, not with the tournament- the Great Tournament no less- so near that they could almost taste it.

Languishing over the agony of the papercut, Baihumon almost didn't catch what the other white-haired male said. But when the words registered in his brain it was as if something had clicked in the worst way, and suddenly Baihumon wasn't clutching his papercut anymore. Not only had this man made fun of something WORSE than any other mortal wound he had ever received not that he technically recalled them all, because only the dragons could do that but he talked like Baihumon was some really old guy or something who wasn't acting his age.
If there was one thing in this world that set Baihumon on a war path it was when people told him he wasn't acting his age.
"As old as me?" Baihumon repeated with the rage racing through his voice. Just how old did this guy think he was anyway? It wasn't like he was a hobbling grey old man. Baihumon was a young fit white-haired boy, but now with a grudge. He wasn't exactly how other people saw him, but this guy was being pretty clear about it and it made Baihumon want to rampage through the streets in his real form. Yeah that might cause some troubles for Mr 'I'm so cool' over here.
Rude and insulting. Baihumon just then realized he had been clenching his fists, and that he had let out his claws in his anger. Drips of red started to come from his palms, telling Baihumon he needed to at least calm down enough not to mutilate himself. Funny how that didn't feel like even a pinch but a papercut hurt every single time. "Look here. I'm not all that old kid and even if I was you probably wouldn't want to cross me right? After all. old people often have more experience. Cocky kids like you really piss me off."
It would be hard to put into words the exact degree of change that just occurred in Baihumon, but he went from entirely un-threatening to somewhat intimidating. Sure he had only been alive for six months this time, but what this kid didn't realize what that he had nearly an eternity of experience in one little partition in his brain. Baihumon wasn't limited like the normal Aettier were and if he really needed he could pull out an Ultimate form so fast it would confuse someone. "So do you want to put this old man to the test in a good ol' fist fight or do you want to walk away quietly like an obedient child?"
