Life on Midgard

DIGIMON & D-BOND, Within months of the mother's pregancy or a few days after a child is born, they gain a digitama from some sort of electrical device (or even through a lightingbolt) and it hatches into their d-bond and their digimon. It's usually worrying if the digitama doesn't appear before the child is born, since it usually means that their baby is, well, dead.

The D-Bond does not have a chosen item side until they reach Normal Aettier rank. From then, they become a chosen item at the moment of their digimon's evolution to child form.

School System, School have their own clubs and actually promote creating bands (they aren't allowed to actually call them gangs) to fight one another and grow stronger. Some schools set aside time for them to actually go through with these fights. Of course, there are rules that prevent them from going anywhere near killing one another. Most schools stop after the first five hits in and declare a winner.

AETTIER RANKS, As stated in Midgar's story, there are several ranks a Aettier (human and digimon pair) can have.

Bronze Aettier

Legend Aettier

GREAT COLOSSEUM, While not all people are for this, there are tournaments, similar to those of the Olympics, that show off the bond between digimon and humans. The known Æsir of the time are invited to watch as well as join for their home countries.

They are held within a special digital barrier, designed and created by special scientists (who were once DEATHS members). From the outside, it appears as though it is a normal colosseum. But that is far from the truth. Birds and such creatures cannot enter the construct. D-Bonds are required to enter the building and are registered into the main frame. Along the path, there are rows upon rows of seats around the rims of the colosseum.

There is another protective barrier within the colosseum, this time to keep its viewers from getting harmed. The one used for the Olympics was large enough to fit Fanglongmon with ease and still give him room to roam around. Needless to say, these colosseums are extremely costly. There has only been a few ever build and as of the moment, only Rome houses the greatest Colosseum.

YGGDRASIL, When people curse, instead of "God" they say "Yggdrasil."

Other than that, most people have ignored the old myths. Some are actually pretty spiteful as to how Yggdrasil had left them to their own doing.

The Aesir have become nothing more than a popular icon. Sure, they are respected, but lately, with all the talk against Yggdrasil, they have begun to fade into the background. Only during the Great Tournament are they brought back and remembered ... or when someone would like to challenge them for their naturally Legendary Status.

The more, almost worshiped, of those of Legendary status is the "normal" pair of the group. The one who had worked their way to the rank unlike the Aesir. Not that they didn't work for it, but people generally expect it of them so they do not care if they can make it.
