[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac26/nachtmare/Tables/oryuumonb.png,true][atrb=style,color:#666666;]With the preparations for the Great Tournament already in progress, Ouryuumon knew that there were some things they had to do to help out. It was her ... job for now. They never had a permanent one, considering it would be rather suspicious if a woman was working for the same job for years and never aged. It was unfortunate, but whatever. She’d grown used to having to leave everything behind over the ... how many so years she’d been alive.
Still, she sighed as she carried a bunch of fliers in hand. There was supposed to be a certain someone helping her, but they had gotten lost. She didn’t want to think that they were out there causing trouble somewhere ... which they were more likely of doing. Handing out these fliers were kind of silly, most, if not all, of the people that came to Rome were going to either participate or watch the Great Tournament. Yet, here she was handing out fliers for it. She supposed it was useful since there were lots that others might not have known about the event, but still! She would expect them to make this much research about it.
Shaking her head slightly, she didn’t even notice bumping into someone. She was quick to react though, holding herself steady and lending a hand to whomever she might have bumped into. ”Yggdrasil. I’m sorry. Are you alright?” She asked.
ooc: sorry about the short post. I just wanted to get things started.

have you heard of the big bad wolf? that lives to steal and eats for pleasure [atrb=width,450][atrb=border,3,true][atrb=rules,none,true][atrb=bordercolor,000000,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=background,http://i53.tinypic.com/2ppa59f.jpg,true]
Yu Jie was getting far too used to being carted around to different places. Traveling from country to country as a child really desensitized the boy to country borders and suddenly the whole world just seemed like one small playground that he would be forced to traverse for the rest of his adult life. Somehow it didn't irk him the way he knew it probably should have. Yu Jie looked down to where his partner had last been only to realize the angelic creature had slipped away when he wasn't looking. "God damn that pest," The young man cursed quietly, looking up furiously.
Meanwhile Lucemon, who hadn't really meant to slip away in the first place, kept pushing the limits by skipping through the streets. At first he thought he was leading the way and Yu Jie was just being slow, as usual, but it didn't take long for him to realize that he had fully lost his partner. At first the only outward indication that Lucemon gave saying that something was wrong was a slightly bewildered look, yet it began to grow more confused until... "Oh I'm in so much trouble!" The digimon shouted with a terrified look on his face.
In his terror, Lucemon flailed around a little until he bumped into someone. Or at least he felt like he bumped into them with all of his thrashing panic, but the end result led to him tumbling forward dramatically into a little heap of wings and jingling bracelets. "Sorry sorry sorry!" Lucemon said quickly, though he realized the person that had knocked him over seemed to be apologizing as well. The concern in the person's voice and the fact that they offered their hand confused Lucemon more than he'd say. "Alright?" He repeated, bewildered.
"O-Oh thank you," the digimon said quickly, grasping the offered hand awkwardly. He got up and straightened himself, smoothing over his wings with a light flap. "I think it was my fault though, I mean I was-" Lucemon cut himself off suddenly, eyes widening in alarm. What he was going to say was that he was acting sporadically because he had lost his partner, but Yu Jie's appearance cut him short.
The man looked as displeased as ever with a very sharp expression on his face. "I see you're getting yourself into trouble as always," Yu Jie stated in a harsh tone of voice. It was frustrating how often the angel got himself into trouble, but when Yu Jie looked to whom it was he had bumped into he got a sour feeling. Something about the blond left him very unsettled, which was saying something considering everything that Yu Jie had seen in his lifetime.
"Hopefully Lucemon here didn't bother you," Yu said flatly, realizing he needed to introduce himself. "I'm Yu Jie Xianlao." Brisk and to the point, just as Yu Jie almost always was.

Gargoylemons outstretched hand that clasped around her waist was all that kept Aleka from colliding with a frantic Angel like Digimon. She perhaps could have identified it but a flutter of wings was all she saw as it rushed past her. Both tamer and Digimon looked at one another, the same thought seeming to rush though them. Where there was a scared Digimon, there was likely a fight.
They tailed the Digimon but the chase did not last long. The angelic Digimon stopped short and Aleka was once again stopped from colliding with him by an outstretched hand. The two stayed back a little but kept an eye on the situation. If the Digimon, now recognizable as a Lucemon, was being chased. They would help it out when needed. But the Lucemon seemed calmed now. Talking and introducing itself to the girl, who had introduced herself as Yggdrasil, it had collided with. But it suddenly stopped talking and looked up at the approaching human.
Aleka fiddled with the collar, her D-bond, that was around her neck. Trying to decide what the situation was. Had the Digimon stopped short out of fear? Or was this man simply his human? More suspicions where raised as he looked at the girl his Digimon had hit. The look in his eyes saying something his mouth did not. But what he did say seemed perfectly polite as he introduced himself and apologized for the antics of his Digimon. It was about now that Gargoylemons voice appeared in Alekas head.
"You have been staring far too long at these people, you may scare them."
Aleka suddenly looked away. Her Gargoylemon was correct. She had been analyzing everything and had been staring at everyone. She blushed slightly, Embarrassed.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac26/nachtmare/Tables/oryuumonb.png][atrb=style,color:#666666;]It took the dragon a bit by surprise to see how panicked the little digimon was from just bumping into them. ... or had they bumped into him? ”Ah, yes. Are you alright?” The dragon sounded a bit flummoxed as he looked. Wasn’t it normal these days to ask that sort of thing? It wasn’t as if they were some sort of monster. ... ah, well, she wasn’t in her digimon form, that was sure. Still, what could make a digimon respond so oddly?
”I think it was both our-“ The blonde’s brow raised to at the angelic digimon’s sudden silence. Ah. She realized. This must have been his partner. At least none of their papers had fallen so Lucemon wouldn’t have gotten in more trouble.
Still though, Ouryuumon found it rather easy to bite back her tongue from responding to such ... It was not her job to meddle with the affairs of aettiers although she could sense that there was something off with the pair. There was that ... feel. The same feel the dragon would get when they were around the Æsir, but it was different, off-balanced. Uneven. The jötunn tucked away a frown.
”I’m perfectly fine. I’m just lucky I hadn’t bumped into a more aggressive digimon.” Ouryuumon easily faked a smile. Years of practice had made her a star actor (or was it actress?) The dragon twitched at the thought of considering themselves as female considering the reason their father had made her as such. It was then that the young man introduced himself. ”Alister. Alister Rebane’s the name.” The jötunn nodded, recalling the human name they had been using at the moment.
With a sly grin, she turned to the pair that had been staring at them from a distance. While she hadn’t picked them out, at first, she could just tell that they were the ones. ”And your names...?” Now, these, she could tell easily had received the blessing from her father. While it might generally take much technology to accurately detect it for normal people, Ouryuumon didn't need such things. They were a child of this world's God, after all, even if not many liked and/or believed in him anymore.

He tried not to dwell on the feelings he was getting about the person so he could focus on learning whatever he could about their movements or how they spoke. It did almost make Yu laugh though when the blond muttered something about not running into a move aggressive digimon. The man could almost perfectly picture Lucemon breaking out into a long apology for something that, possibly, wasn't even his fault. That was the nature of Lucemon, as much as it annoyed Yu Jie.
"Alister!" Lucemon remarked happily. "That's a nice name. I really like it." The digimon looked up to his partner for confirmation, but only got a dry glare instead. Eyes slightly wide and a tiny frown on his face, Lucemon looked back to the person who had just introduced herself just as she began to turn her focus. Confused, Lucemon peeked from behind Alister to try to see who she was talking at.
It was a girl and her digimon from what Lucemon could see, though he didn't see anything particular about them that would justify Alister picking them out. Or were they staring or something? The digimon hadn't particularly noticed anything. "I'm Lucemon! That's my name!" He shouted, still somewhat hiding behind Alister.
Yu Jie looked utterly irked by how idiotic his partner was being so he took a few steps over to where the digimon was standing and swiped him off the ground by his little tunic. "Normally when people introduce themselves they can be seen. Here," He said flatly, holding Lucemon out towards the two strangers. "This is Lucemon. He's apparently shy all of a sudden."
Lucemon, who was dangling from Yu Jie's outstretched hand, probably should have been a little annoyed or upset that he was being man-handled, but he was too amused to notice. Dorky grin on his face he swung his legs a little and squirmed in Yu's grip. "This is fun. Why don't you pick me up more often?" Lucemon asked while swinging himself back and forth gently.
"Probably because you'd do that," Yu Jie sighed, letting Lucemon go. The little digimon looked a little sad to be on the ground again, but quickly walked over to Yu Jie's leg and clung to it like a child. Yu could only roll his eyes and cross his arms, waiting for the two people Alister picked out of the crowd to do something.

WE LIVE. WE DIE. WE FEEL. WE CRY.[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background-color:4f1c0a] | [atrb=style,background-color: a4a274;][[sorry if this post offends anyone ;o; Mouse and Pipismon are insane.]]
Fate definitely had a plan today.
The sun was shining, stray dogs were barking, men were singing while preparing delicious meals. Everything would have been perfect in Italy if it weren't for a certain deviant. Stepping lightly on the stone streets was an unusual looking human and her digimon partner. Not only was the human girl wearing bizarre clothes (consisting of a red dinosaur hoodie and high striped knee socks) but her physical features stood out like a sore thumb. She bore lime green hair with hazel eyes bright enough to be mistaken for red, not to mention strange markings on her face most likely drawn there with eyeliner. She liked the attention.. of course she did.
Gently latched to her was her digimon partner, a Pipismon. The batlike creature let his hands and feet hook around her arm snugly so he couldn't fall of. Despite being quite a large digimon, the girl didn't seem to mind him hanging off of her. Pipismon lowered his maw to her ear, working as a literal shoulder devil as he hissed sweetly to her. "Ah. You've got to love Italy..."
Mouse knew immediately where he was going with this, grinning lightly at her partner without looking at him. "Now don't you start that..." she warned him in a friendly manner, reaching up to scratch behind his ear gently. The digimon purred at the gesture, but wasn't going to let up that easily. She wouldn't take away his opportunity to be witty yet.
"You're defending these hairy mobsters?" Pipismon growled softly, lifting his maw to look at their surroundings. "After how they treated you, my poor thing, when you accidentally knocked over that glass salt shaker? You didn't deserve that... you'd never deserve that..."
His tone was enough to sway her to stop speaking for now. Her small, twisted smile grew with each kind word spoken by her deranged partner. He was right. They deserved to suffer for what they said to her. They screamed at her in some language she didn't understand, and even tried to apologize for it. SHE. APOLOGIZED. But they only kept screaming... and screaming... oh well. Hopefully Italians knew what anthrax was, otherwise the envelope filled with flour sent to the restaurant's address won't be as effective as she was hoping. They'd probably just use it to cook. she thought to herself while feeling her eyes roll in disgust.
Mouse continued to reward his efforts of trying to make her feel better by scratching at his ears until they came across a rather...interesting group of people passing out tournament fliers. Mouse slowed to a halt, staring at each of them with dimmed eyes.
lovemelovemelovemeloveme.
The hunger was rising again. Mouse felt herself craving for their attention as she stood there motionless. What would she do? What could she do without scaring them away from her? What could she do without making them hate her? Pipismon felt her growing anxiety and let go of his partner for the time being, deciding now to hover in the air with the soft beating of his wings. He stayed close to her, as if he was being held there by invisible shackles to his tamer.
i'mchokingi'mchokingmakethemloveme... "Well hello, there!" The digimon chirped to the group with a large, fangy smile. "I am Pipismon, and this is my partner! Pleasure to meet you all. I trust you're participating in the tournament?"
...yesyesspeakformemakethemloveme!!...
The light returned to Mouse's eyes, forcing a somewhat normal smile towards the group. Normal...Normal won't scare them... but normal will bore them...what to do what to do... be normal but be strange without frightening them...
The girl rose her hand at the group, offering a timid wave. After testing her comfort level with acting so normal she quickly shoved her hand back into her pocket. A few moments of silence passed before she knew she had to offer a greeting of her own.
"Hi. I'm Morissa... but everyone calls me 'Mouse.'"

The girl had asked for there names. Drawing the attention of the abusive human. Aleka wanted to say something...do something. But the mans Lucemon did not seem to mind the treatment in the slightest. It made her unsure of how to act. She would need to watch the situation a bit more closely before knowing if anything needed to be done. As for the introduction Aleka went to speak then stood speechless while she stared at the strangely dressed girl who had just wandered up.
Her Digimon spoke for her at first. Introducing the pair and asking if they where participating in the tournament. Aleka would normally have given a cocky reply back but found herself still a little speechless. The new girl introduced herself as Morissa or 'Mouse'. She acted rather...shy? was that it? It seemed like a strange type of shyness. But Aleka would not be rude any further. Addressing mainly the new girl, because of her shyness.
"Names Aleka." Pointing to her side she continued to introduce her Digimon "He’s Gargoylemon" Even upon being introduced the Digimon rose a hand up to the red bindings at his neck and gave a small bow. "And yes, we will definitely be participating in the tournament. I cant say for these other two-" Raising her hand Aleka indicated a desire for the other two to introduce themselves as well.

In the sky, lies my own paradise.... [atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=border,0,true]
If there was any way he wanted to know to cure his case of boredom, Alphonse would love to find that cure and down the entire source. He had been padding around the streets of Rome, taking in the sights. It was a magnificent place to be. Especially if you had a bird's eye view. Case in point, Al himself, since he was residing in his Hawkmon form. He decided to take to the skies to get a better look of the city. The only attraction in the current vicinty was the setting for the Great Tournament. It was supposed to be starting soon. The streets were filled with more people since it was on the horizon. Hell, anyone that came to Rome was possibly going to just watch the tournament then go back. Alphonse decided to take in the sights, then head for the tournament somewhere along the way.
Hawkmon sighed as he kept flying through the air. He needed something to do....The bird got his answer as he spied a small amount of people in a large section of the city all grouped together. He also spied a certain person. The thought of doing something incredibly stupid bubbled up in Al's brain. He really wanted to....But decided against it. He wasn't like a certain one idiot he knew. Even if he was saddled into the majority of the stupid situations The Hawkmon descended in an alley, slipping and causing himself to fall flat on his beak. He made a squawk of pain before massaging his beak. "Note to self, work on landings..." He muttered to himself as he made his way out of the alley. When he would step out, he took his human appearance, though he was rubbing his nose. He hoped that no one noticed that.
"Mah, still stings..." Alphonse muttered as he adjusted his tie, pulled back his bright red hair and fixed his blazer. Time to make a proper appearance. He stepped up to the group with a smile on his face. There was a lumbering white digimon, draconic in appearance, a little boy with angel wings and a small blue bat. He still kept the smile. "Well, well, what have we here? More people here for the Tournament?" He questioned the group, his eyes gazing over Alister for a few brief moments.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac26/nachtmare/Tables/oryuumonb.png][atrb=style,color:#666666;]Ouryuumon chuckled. ”Why thank you ~” At least Lucemon was a good kid.
The dragon covered their mouth, muffling their laugh as they Lucemon introduced himself again. This time to the aettier that she’d pointed out. They weren’t at all offended when he’d decided to pick them as someone to hide behind. In fact, they might have been a bit honored to be thought of as someone he could trust.
What took them by surprise though was Yu Jie’s reaction. He could be surprisingly ... cute for a lack of a better word, in his own little way. The only reason Ouryuumon couldn’t feel offended that the angelic digimon was handled in such a way was because of Lucemon’s reaction to the whole thing. He was enjoying it.
As Yu Jie dropped Lucemon back to the ground, the Amarillo Dragon understood the pair right then and there. It was like an unwilling parent (Yu Jie) and a child (Lucemon). While they might have seemed strange at first, it was somewhat fitting.
Her thoughts were broken when they heard a pair of wings. A Pipismon. How interesting. She hadn’t seen one around for a long while. It wasn’t too long before another came to them. The Pipismon’s partner, a strange green haired child. The Amarillo Dragon could tell there was something off with the girl as well. It wasn’t the way she dressed, although that could have been another tip off, but they weren’t one to judge as to one’s clothing. They’d always carried a red scarf around their neck, regardless of the weather.
As the two the dragon picked out introduced themselves, they mentally made note of everyone around. Their names and such. It was an easy feat, considering they had a hard time forgetting anything (not that they’d honestly answer if she could if asked about it).
”Me? Oh no. I couldn’t. I prefer watching everyone else. Besides, I’d have an unfair advantage. I work for the people organizing this whole event.” The dragon smiled ruefully, even if they wanted to join, it would be impossible. Losing wasn’t something they liked to do and it wouldn’t be fair to the others. Ouryuumon was simply ... not part of their rank. Their digital line was somewhat rare as well, or at least noticeable ... especially their Ultimate level. Hell, centuries ago, they used to use it to travel and gained too much exposure, outrageous myths and possibly some false gods have arisen from it. Being modeled after Yggdrasil’s other form did not help the situation at all. Besides, it was mostly out of nostalgia that made the dragon keep the ranking. ”So, I’m just passing fliers for it for now. Do any of you want some?” Ouryuumon asked holding out the flyers before themselves She was sure that they’d turn the dragon down instantly. ”Anyways, it’s a pleasure to meet you, everyone ~ If you have any questions about the Great Tournament, feel free to ask.”
And of course, they had to appear. The crazy chicken. Hadn’t the Amarillo Dragon asked the two to stay ho – wait, did this mean he was outside as well?! Yggdrasil. You must hate me. She actually prayed to her father, and like always, he’d kept his mouth shut. Not answering them. They’d been doing a bit too much of that since this mess had started. Rubbing their forehead, they called on their illusion digimon. They supposed it had been a tad odd to see that they were wandering without one for too long. Mentally, the dragon asked the same of the flying chicken. Her illusion digimon appeared solid, and it was merely her child form, tugging at the tail of the red head’s coat. ”So this is where you’ve been, Alice.” They frowned. I swear if I see the police end up here or anything of the like, Zhuqiaomon... Ouryuumon shook their head. ”Have you finished handing out your stack of fliers already?
ooc: this is stuff she says telepathically. At the moment, it is only towards Zhuquiamon.
... also, long rambly post of death. D|

have you heard of the big bad wolf? that lives to steal and eats for pleasure [atrb=width,450][atrb=border,3,true][atrb=rules,none,true][atrb=bordercolor,000000,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=background,http://i53.tinypic.com/2ppa59f.jpg,true]
The situation had grown rather complicated. If it continued to grow so much Yu Jie imagined he might want to slip out quietly. No. He had already made up his mind that he would have to. Lucemon was the problem though. The little pest had already taken a liking to Alister and was somewhat relishing meeting the new people. "I know I will be participating in the tournament..." Yu Jie muttered, not particularly interested in anyone who was present. If they would be in the tournament as they said then he would deal with them then, in the arena.
Lucemon meanwhile looked suddenly distressed at the mention of the tournament. The digimon knew he was going to have to compete the second that he heard they were going on a DEATHS sponsored 'field trip', but that didn't stop him from worrying about it. Lucemon obviously wasn't a fighter and he was worried, not about getting hurt, but about disappointing Yu. The last thing the little angel wanted was to get on that tournament stage and fall in battle before Yu Jie's eyes. When Yu Jie was relying on him. What if he couldn't digivolve in dire need? That thought haunted the digimon more than he would ever admit.
Yu in the meantime had noticed that Lucemon was lost in his thoughts. It was clear the little creature was lost in thought due to what Yu had said, but the man couldn't entirely bring himself to care. His partner knew what this trip was going to be like and still came rather willingly. With so many people about it wouldn't be good if they all noticed how troubled his digimon was. Yu Jie didn't want the little pest to get cold feet and whine to these people that he didn't want to participate in the tournament. That would pose problems that Yu wasn't in the mood to deal with. Especially, he imagined, with Alister.
The pipismon and it's partner probably wouldn't care and Yu couldn't really imagine Aleka and her partner caring either. The redhead, perhaps, though even that was doubtful. Something about Alister though made Yu Jie so very uncomfortable. The young man imagined he already upset her with how he was acting towards his partner. He almost wanted to venture thinking Lucemon's innocence and happy reactions were the only thing that saved him from some form of anger, but Yu didn't know enough yet to venture any assumption.
"I'd love one of those fliers," Yu said, leaning in to take one from Alister. He looked at it for a moment, glad to not have to look out towards everyone else. "Here, you'll like this," The young man handed the paper to Lucemon, knowing it would get the little digimon a bit more excited for the event. Lucemon was peculiar like that and looking at something solid like that always calmed him down. | [atrb=width,90,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=background,http://i53.tinypic.com/2ppa59f.jpg,true]

In the sky, lies my own paradise.... [atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=border,0,true] "Don't worry. I, unlike someone we know, I don't get caught all that easily.
|
[/color]" Zhuqiomon frowned at Oryuumon. He was better than that brat, though not by much since he sometimes decided to join in on his little shenanigans when he was bored. This was then rectified by the woman in front of him. She had also given him and his brother nicknames. At least his wasn't all babyish. His frown turned into a scowl. "Why must you insist on calling me that?" He questioned. His voice sounded like he was whining, much to his dismay. " Yes, I already did that. I broke away from Lulu because I probably wasn't going to get anything done." Alphonse stated, fixing his tie once more. The illusion of his Child form, Hawkmon was crossing his arms, head in the air with a scowl plastered on his beak, as if he was just being bratty as usual. Zhuqiomon rolled his eyes, then his attention was turned to the little angel in the toga. He seemed pretty out of it, then looked back at the fliers. "Well then, I'll wish you guys good luck. I'd enter, but I don't think I'm cut out for the tournament scene unless I'm in the stands or something." The bird waved an arm lightly. Fighting really wasn't his thing unless he was forced to, or he was training. And he didn't even like that. He was the only one of the three that somewhat detested fighting. Though it was fun to make his brother mad when he denied him. Boy that look on his face...The bird shook his head to get his mind from wandering. He noticed some of the fliers still in Alister's hand. " I see you haven't finished either." He stated smugly. Aleka took a look at the angel Digimon and found herself already underestimating him. Shaking the thoughts off as she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. Checking a message and replying. When the phone was finally put away she apologized and took off. "I'm sorry I have somewhere to be, it was interesting meeting you all. Perhaps we will run into each other again." With that said Aleka took off down the street, Gargoylemon just behind her.
